Out of three hundred and sixty million citizens of these United States we have chosen 1 to be our President, 50 to represent us in the Senate, 435 members of the House of Representatives to represent our needs and desires. These should be the brightest people schooled in government affairs of this nation.

To occupy the current seats having to be filled in the Senate and House in 2021 the candidates raise 2.4 billion dollars to oversee a 6.27 trillion dollar budget. Which means about 5.2 million for each candidate for a job that pays 174,000 per year. Of the 5.2 million dollars raised only about 2/3s of that is spent on candidate business. ?????

The question then becomes to be, did they run for office to help the people, get power, or is it for the money? This does not take into consideration the money and benefits coming from K Street.

I think we would be better off to give a qualified candidate a budget of 2 million dollars and eliminate any other contributions from any source and let the candidate make their case to the people.

There was a TV series recently about a HUD Secretary that became President due to a large explosion at the capital. He wasn’t a politician that was seeking office. He was an architect that did good work in his field and was appointed Secretary of HUD.

He really tried to do a good job, but in the end he had to become a politician to hold his position as president.

I don’t believe most House Representatives or Senators seek office for power or money to begin with. I think the office tends to corrupt

Honest people. Any more than you can put a child in a room full of candy and expect them to not take the candy, You cannot put an adult in a room full of power and money and expect them not to take some.

There is $ 6,270,000,000,000.00 they have to manage with the power to do it. What a candy store to put a person in with little supervision.

Our US Constitution is very solid, but it needs a justice department that will regulate defaults and a congress that will back them. Are you voters and non-voters willing to help. The help has to come from down here.

At this point I have to redirect the thinking of these writings back to the basic concept of why and how these United States were created. The Christian religion in the Middle East, Europe, and Russia was not moving forward with the love God intended. The transformation of the Jewish concept of how to worship God was not going the way it should have.

The earthly power of the Church was becoming more important than the reason for the Church. i.e. If the person being accepted by the Church did not accept the faith the way they were told, the Church might reject them. That idea had to be the reason we have many religions today. i.e. You have to do it our way or you are wrong.

Many religions today continue with that concept. The love of God “agape” is weak or is completely left out. Jesus, the son of God, did not teach anything like the religious prejudice we experience today.

The early settlers of the colonies experienced some freedom they had never felt before. More freedom to worship as they felt God guided them and freedom to live and prosper as never before. From the time the Pilgrim’s landed on Plymouth Rock in 1620 over the next hundred fifty years they experienced a new kind of life they wanted to keep alive.

While the were not perfect men, the men sitting in the Philadelphia Convention did not write and sign the Declaration of Independence for person wealth. They pledged their fortunes and their lives to the concept of freedom and their love of mankind.

Of course they believed they would be better off than when the war was over, but the also knew if they were to survive it would be with the help of the commoners that were identified in the document as We the People. The love of each other was born that day in America.

Now love has be reborn in congress and the voters, or we can lose this country. A country that the world looks to as a way to grow by loving everyone inside of outside our great country.

I became a Christian by believing in Jesus the Christ and picking up my cross of a sinful life and trying to live like Jesus did. I can’t do it, but because He gave me strength through His grace I do better than I could have alone. He gave me this country, and I want my children, great grand children, and my great great grand children to enjoy it.

This constant bickering that has nothing to do with God’s love has to stop. We have to agree to disagree, but compromise while living in the early world God gave us.

In the name of Jesus I ask God to give wisdom to the men and women Democrats, Republicans, and Independence that are now in leadership possessions. Amen

Our government is comprised of three parts. The Executive Branch run the country under the watchful eye of the Legislative Branch that tries to adjust the problems faced by the Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch which is charged with Investigating and/or taking action against an individual, firm, or corporation working against the Constitution.

When the Legislative Branch charges itself to investigate breaches of the laws the system isn’t working. The job of congress is to point out to the Judicial Brank something is wrong. In the case of 12/6/2021 the Judicial Brank could not be relied upon to reach such a conclusion. The Constitution is clear about violators. The are to be tried and if guilty sentenced. It should not be up to the Attorneys General state of federal to make that decision.

Now we have a House that is being run by the Republican Party that has once again figured out how they can not do the governing jobs for which the have been elected. They want to investigate the current President to divert attention from their real job. If they have eveidence against the President they should turn it over to the AG and get on with the business of running the country.

What seems to be happening right now is the reason I left the Republican Party. The leaders just can’t walk and chew chewing gum and the same time.

Our debt ceiling is largely due to the majority party choosing not to govern while the Democrats were in charge. I say again, it takes two parties to move forward.

Our government has encouraged foreign investment in manufacturing, oil processing in foreign countries, discouraging US owned shipping, and holding back infrastructure while allowing our education system to become too expensive for a person justify. This was cause by both parties and K Street.

The rioters of January 6th were wrong, but they were spurred on because they knew something had to be done to change the way Washington does business. They thought Trump had the answer. What they did not understand is Trump didn’t even understand the question. He has never been there.

The United States Citizen is now charged with learning more about this county without just letting politicians tell them what they want them to know. That time has come and gone. It is clear that we citizens should know what it happening and why. This is a great country with the possibility of solving all the problems presented to it.

If we manufacture most of what we need and grow most of what we eat, our economy while maintaining a good balance of trade, will grow and we will come out of debt.

May God grant us wisdom and love for each other, and may God grant wisdom to those in leadership positions.

God and Country 4 Team Players

The discussions in congress remind me of boys playing baseball when I was a kid. Sometimes, when there was a disagreement the one that owned the ball would say, “I’ll just take my ball and go home if you can’t agree with me.” So everyone would either have to buy their own ball, bat and glove or agree issues.

We have to wonder if the members of the Republican Party ever played baseball. The solution in the baseball scenario was something to control the team captain which was controlled by the league which was controlled by the rules agreed on by the team coaches.

When the leagues played each other they had to agree on common rules. If there was a disagreement appeared the rules had to win. If the rules needed changing a debate took place and the rule was left alone or amended to suit the league.

The person that wanted to (take their ball and go home) is in congress now not debating anything. They are saying the need for debate is over. Only their way can work. The group came to light years ago when the tea party was introduced into the Republican Party. They changed their name, but they are still influenced by the idea of doing nothing.

As an independent I say we need a Republican Party, but we need members that can debate and agree to disagree. That is what the Democratic Party has done for centuries. Someone should step up and claim that job, so the world can see that we are no longer children but adults.

You men in the majority of Republicans in the house now know in your hart who that someone is. It is time to be bold. Their is a Christian leader there in you midst that has the God given skills to lead.

Pick Him.

There is a word that we use when we talk about God’s love. Agape is that word. It is the unconditional love of men and women, Most people think it is the love of some people. but I believe it is the love He has for all people. If that were not true Jesus would not have gone to the cross for all of the sins of the people that would believe and follow His teachings.

My God loves you and me no matter what one thinks or believes. He spoke this universe into existence which makes Him sovereign. My belief is that if any religion is not based on their god loving everyone, it is not the God that created the universe, and everything in it.

Our Constitution is based on Christian values and Christian values do not include chaos which is going on now in the House of Representatives. Part of the Constitution covers why the Constitution was written in the first place. We refer to these articles as the Bill of Rights.

The negotiations taking place now is because the major part of the Republican Party is trying to take power instead of serving the people. If a solid constitutionalist does not come forward, power will overtake in premises of the Bill of Rights.

It is good that the Republican Party which is more conservative of the two major parties makes this turn from chaos to normalcy. However it must be a leader that was not connected to the leader of the insurrection.

We have to have Republicans and Democrats who can work across the isle in both the House and Senate that understand the the Constitution runs the country not the elected leaders running Constitution.

To simplify the situation the Constitution is a contract between the United States citizens. As in any contract the contract determine how the parameters of the contract determine what will happen and how.

In any conflict, the contract controls the people not the people controlling the contract. Sometimes simplicity is the way to get to the root of the conflict. If any member is delaying justice or the will of the people, they are flirting dishonor conduct. We need the ones that have taken the oath to serve to do self examination for themselves and the people who elected them.

I am going to be sending our texts from time to time not because I as smart and know all the answers, but because I am concerned about God’s people not following the Christian bible or the Constitution. The bible was written by 40 authors over a period of 2500 years. The writing began about 4700 years ago but covered the 13.5 billion years since this universe was created. The United States Constitution was written 246 years ago by men I believe were designated by God to give us a good standard of ideas to live by while here on earth.

To me the sovereignty of God is not questionable for the salvation of our souls, As human beings created by God many have tried to form a government that adheres to the values presented in the Christian bible, but now were doing very well until the First Continental Congress wrote the Declaration of Independence to King George of England. After the lose of thousands of men and women a war was won and the United States Constitution was written and approved.

At that point the 13 colonies became the 13 states agreed that all men were created equal and should live together in peace with the laws of the Constitution to guide them. Now instead of the King or Queen being sovereign the United States Constitution is sovereign. Further I believe we owe a great debt to George Washington who could have been elected King according to some, but chose to be a president with the Constitution to guide him. His move made us a republic because at that point the Constitution had not yet been approved by all the states.

Now we have reached the point in our government that has decided to follow the bible when it is convenient and advantageous to the person in charge, and follow the Constitution in the same manner. The spirit of the bible and the Constitution are lost in either case.

If a reader does not agree with the general principles I am laying before you, You will not need to read anything else I write, but I believe God wants me to continue to the sake of the republic and the human being effected by our decisions.

We are in charge of our own soul.  We have the choice to believe we are Christians or believe we don’t have to be Christians to go to heaven.  Our soul is given a destination of heaven if we believe God is sovereign and Jesus the Christ sent His soul to earth to live in a human body venerable to temptation.

The truth is that Jesus took all our past, present and future sins to the cross.  He said I and the way the truth and the life.  No one goes to the Father except through Me.  All we have to do to send our souls to heaven is to believe He died for our sins, rose from the dead on the third day and is with the eternal God in heaven today.  One other thing we must do is try to live a decent life and spread the Word.

If we have friends and acquaintances that don’t believe the above statement and are doing things contrary the instructions Jesus gave us, we should confront them with love and compassion to help guide them to heaven.  God loves everyone and wants everyone to be with Him for eternity, but that is the choice of every person individually.  God could make us all decide to join Him, but He gave us free will to make that choice ourselves.

I want this country to become a Christian Nation before it is too late.

I love you all and God loves us all.

Lately have been more and more concerned about the demeanor our country presents to the world,  but even more concerned about the way we present to each other.  The question we should ask each other is, are we a Christian nation?  The second question we should ask ourselves is do we want to be a Christian nation.

The answer to those two questions will determine our future as a world leader.  When I traveled abroad forty years ago, I was introduced as a consultant from the United States.  At that point and during my entire stay in each country persons looked to me as an expert.  If I told them I did not know the answer to a question they believed me.  If I told them I had positive or negative thoughts about a subject they believed me constantly looking to me for guidance.

As I notice interactions today with countries today they act like we are just another country but with power.  I believe it is because they see us lie to each other and treat our less fortunate citizens with malice.  If we lie to and about each other so freely, why then should other countries believe in us?

We have certainly not always been perfect, but I believe we have crossed the line.  I supported President Joe Biden, but I don’t support Roe vs Wade.  I believe that is premeditated murder of person.  No representative in congress is without fault, but when they lie or mislead the public on purpose they are guilty of betraying the trust given to the by the public.  Therefore the public that votes for them again is also guilty of lying to the public. Therefore I go back to the question, do we want to be a Christian Nation?

It is evident that people have been targeted as civilians in Ukraine. Any other time we would be at war. What is the difference.

We sometimes try to fool ourselves into believing that borders matter when people are attacked. In the Ukraine we have non Christians attacking Christians. There is no difference in this attack and the German attack on Poland in WWII.

I understand the nuclear risk but that is a minimal risk compared to the risk we face if we do nothing. Russia is weak in comparison to what they could be as they let the middle eastern counties join their rakes. when that happens a holy war is in place that we are not prepared for.

If we want to preserve our Christian ideals we have to act now. If we act in God’s name we will defeat the Muslum ideals that are using the Russian people to win their battle with our God.

It is clear to me that the Russian people do not support this action, otherwise the people from othe countries would not be needed. Now is the time to act.
