I thought I was an independent between Republican and Democrat

24 Jul

I thought I was an independent voter, but now i have changed my mind. I am a Conservative Christian voter. I was leaning Demarcate, but I am not for gay rights or abortion. I also don’t believe open boarders. I understand why anyone in an abusive situation would want to come to this country, but only if they support our constitution, and will learn American English.

On the other hand I believe we have created obligations as we grew that need and stronger an larger government. I believe that cannot be solved by any President. I takes departments and people own understand those department needs to effectively serve and manage those needs and the problems created by those needs. To reduce the size of the government is to weaken the government.

I believe in gun rights, but not controlled gun rights. We should be able to protect ourselves, but not with a weapon that can kill many rapidly. That should only be done by government trained people that are using government weapons.

I believe we should have a strong military without private contractor. In your spare time you might want to read The Factors Behind the Fall of the Roman Empire – ancient.com

Each of us is accountable to God, family, and government federal then local although all politics is local. Our politicians should look at running our government the same way. With every bill or decision considered God’s law, the earth He gave us, and His people should be considered first. After that everything should be natural for the good of the planet, our nation, and its people.

Every politician in power should consider the benefits of each decision and if it unfairly give to one person, group, or entity more benefit that should be normal. Natural competition should be in place when a bill is passed. Passing a bill where there is no competition should never happen. If a bill is passed where there is no competition should not go in affect until competition is created.

Therefore, I don’t fit either party. I am an American.

A divided nation cannot stand

14 Jul

I wrote the following a few days ago, and then yesterday the event of the possible assignation of former president Trump became real.

I am an independent going to church praying for Trump because we are a divided nation. Again I say what Jesus said and Lincoln said. “A divided nation cannot stand. “

Our country is divided. It is not going to be divided. It is divided. Do we want to united this nation or continue to fight the ideas of our neighbor.

We agreed on a constitution 250 years ago to be governed by a republic which to the world was considered an experiment.

The wealthy became more wealthy through the work of the common folks that did the work. The government was and still is controlled by the wealthy, but the unions were formed that put some degree of restraint on those that were taking advantage of this free republic.

Power and money was still the key to controlling there wealth, and though the money, power earned the wealthy maintained control of the government with some exceptions. As part of the middle class became a sub wealthy class the country began its division. The wealth and the sub-wealth began to attempt to shrink the size of the government.

As our government grew the management of the government became a night mare of expense which had to be met by the tax payer. Beginning in the 50s after WWII, we elect people the thought the social security lock box had to be unlocked to begin building our wonderful interstate highway system. This money was borrowed and never repaid. Our military expense grew to enormous proportions because after WWI we cut back too far. The powerful didn’t want to pay for the upkeep of face the problem of claimant change, so they let it and other things grow to their extreme condition which will have to be solved by the rich, sub-rich,what left of the middle class, and the rest of us also.

This is the problem and divided nation faces. Division is standing in the way due to the stubbornness of the far right and the far left. While the far left and far right are not wrong. They are not alone. Only together can we reunite.

The media keeps asking are you better off than you were four years ago. While that is a good question to ask yourself, but it is that wrong question to ask. You are casting a vote to improve the country. If the country improves you will improve. Quit listening to the media and politians that are only interested in their rating. Ask yourself how can I improve this country, by reinstalling a seasoned leader that cares about this country or reelecting a man that sent a mob to the capital because he lost the election.

I have heard all I can take the is not God

5 Jul

I have heard all of this misdirection from the right I want to hear. I am a pro-life Christian. When I say Christian I believe that children are special in that Jesus said they are special.

Matthew 19: 13-15 (GNT – Good New Translation)

(Mark 10.13-16; Luke 18.15-17)

13 Some people brought children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and to pray for them, but the disciples scolded the people.

14 Jesus said, “Let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

15 He placed his hands on them and then went away.

I can only interpret that passage as God will take them in heaven if they die before they can make their own decisions. I don’t agree with killing anyone without a reason to do so, but I don’t believe in bringing a child into this world without loving it.

I believe in reasonable gun control, but I can’t see a reason why any civilian should have an automatic weapon in their home. If we need fire power like that, our government will give us what we need. Was is the reason to have military and police if we can’t depend on them. Some have advocated defunding the police. That makes no sense at all. If we need protection we have wonderful men and women that are eager to serve, and have since our country was formed.

At this point in time the far right and the extreme left is not representing the country or the rules given to us in the Holy Bible. Both are making decisions that do not represent the constitution and the needs of the populous. I served when I was in the Navy. I took an oath to defend and protect the constitution when I joined because I believe that wise men under God’s direction wrote almost all we needed at the time. Some tried to make all men equal, but it wasn’t to be at that time.

I am very satisfied with all citizens of any color having the same rights as me. What we look like or our heritage doesn’t matter. It is what we do and say that matters. My ancestors were German, but my father fought them in WWII. If he had marched in a parade for Hitler while living in the United States, I would have been ashamed of his actions.’’ If the country of you parents or ancestors was better that this one you would have been born there.

He would tell me today to vote for leaders that are trying to live by instructions and pray to God in Jesus name to give him the ability decisions guided by the Holy Spirit.

The majority of this country has pledged to vote for a man hooked on building his power instead of the power he could get from God if he asked for it.

What we are seeing on the streets now is people who don’t believe the oath we swore as new citizens or when we joined the service or took public office. Other citizens were simply born in this fee country. Some relish in that fact while others don’t.

Term Limits

12 May

Something has to change. We have had a rough start in our Republic over the last 150 years. Our four fathers, mostly Christian, envisioned a free country dedicated to the primus that all men were created equal. While these men were basically ordinary citizens, they were the more wealthy and influential leaders of the colonies.

When the Revolutionary War was won, they discussed the possibility of making George Washington a King or at least head of the government instead of President for a short term. Thankfully he declined. However, there were men in the government that wanted the power that was coming to our nation. These men were instrumental in the development of the laws and the rules we go by because they were there for a long time.

Since that time, the length of time of service in the House of Representatives and the Senate for the House and Senate members has increased to the point that nothing matters except maintaining power for the benefit of themselves or the entities that supported their reign or power.

From that perspective it seems clear to me that the public can changes what the elected members will never do. That is to set term limits. A referendum must be set on the ballot in every state simultaneously in a federal election to set term limits to two terms for the Senate and four terms in the House, It will never happen without the public input.

The only way we can take our constitution back is to change the thinking in Washington.

Is it free speech or treason?

1 May

As usual our Congressmen and Senators are thinking more about themselves than the country. Considering even the idea of the Islamic people trying to take over our country. All of our representatives are reacting instead of proacting to the problems facing our nation.

This problem has been working for some time and being ignored by everyone in power using freedom of speech right to assemble which we originally put in the Constitution as a crutch to justify rebellion.

I am just a simple citizen, but there are solution that could be considered. Treason could be more clearly refined. The American public are easy to confuse including me. The law now protects politicians from making statements about their opponents with out any proof of what they say. To me it is okay to make any statement without producing the proof, but it should be available in case it is questioned by the media.

We have been invaded several times by organized protesters that are protesting against the values we hold dear. Many times they are masked to hold their identity from the public. This boarders on treason yet it is treated as a misdemeanor. Another is taking over and area for days or in some cases weeks or months, to inhibit the activities of the public’s normal and necessary activities. Another is the waring of masks in public with reason. Many criminals are dress with masks and hoods for no purpose other than to break into store.

We could have federal laws amended to stop these activities. You Congressmen and Senators are smarter that me, so I am sure this can be handled. You can start by asking yourselves and the activities I have mentioned are you really trying to help or are you just there because you have more money or ran a better campaign.

How Immigrants Should Show Respect

12 Mar

It seems we have lost our way. Our constitution has always been a work in progress. Since we a nation of immigrants we provided a method of recruiting new people to the country.

To become a U.S. citizen, you must meet certain eligibility requirements12345.
These include:
· Being at least 18 years old when you apply12345.
· Being a permanent resident (have a Green Card) for at least 3-5 years145.
· Demonstrating continuous residence in the United States for at least 5 years immediately before the date you file Form N-4001.
· Being able to read, write, and speak basic English (depending on age)2.
· Establishing residency in the state or U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) district where you intend to apply.
· Having “good moral character”

These requirements basically are but not limited to what is written above. At the time of becoming a citizen immigrants have to take an oath of allegiance which leaves nothing to the imagination. It is clear to me and everyone else I have talked to about this that we welcome people from other countries that want to conform to our way to life.
I see nothing wrong in protesting peacefully. To some degree protesting has benefited most of the people needed help in some way or other. Some benefited economically, some gained the right to vote, and some just recognition for things that mattered to them.
To have these rights one must be a citizen of the United States. When persons come in to the United States legally that come with a Green Card status. For a period of time that have time to acquaint themselves with our laws and customs. Otherwise the prospective immigrant will try to make this country the way he wanted to change his birth country.
We have laws that keep changing about new immigrants, but that can be fixed with cooperation between the parties. That is not the concern. The concern gets to be how the immigrants behave once they are here. When I see immigrants or children of immigrants acting like residents of another country waving their former country’s flags, I get dismayed.
When the Parisians wave the Palestinian flag ignoring what they have done it is unamerican.
You have chosen to live in a Christian nation speaking American English. Live with it.

Are Values Important to you???

18 Aug

I, among others, have been very concerned about the direction our country is taking in its basic thinking. There is a proven fact that basically says “You are what you think”. This means as one goes through life, the way one perceives life, changes the way one acts out ones life.
To try to illustrate this point we will take one value we hope we all adhere to. It is wrong to murder a human being. If that is a value one wants to stand by when one sees or hears of a murder of an innocent person, one becomes upset and appalled at the action of the perpetrator. One becomes more appalled if it is someone one admires; more appalled if it is someone one is close to; and more appalled if it is part of ones family.
How firmly one values are set one’s mind by the environment in which one lives. If the environment tolerates execution for crimes committed one’s mind changes the word murder to execution, therefore it is not longer murder. If an enemy is assassinated one again redefines murder to assassination. If an unborn baby is killed an taken from the mother’s whom for no valid medical reason, one’s mind changes the word murder to abortion. Therefore while our values may be absolute society’s values, which control our environment, may not be tied to anything that is absolute.
We believe our values are tied to the Ten Commandments God gave Moses as described in the Hold Bible, and just as the 12 tribes defiled each of the commandments, our wonderful nation of the United States of America defile these same values.
The situation described above is the reason for the writing. Since our four fathers were so interested in following through with the values set for the in the Holy Bible they placed reminders of those values in the Constitution of the United States and in different locations around its capital. They are not hidden but well placed in very obvious locations.
Further we start every session of Congress with a prayer to God, the creator of the universe, and until the twentieth century swore an oath to service the nation to almighty God saying so help me God. This is an excellent example of the digression of our values. The oath one gives is not swearing by God . One is asking God to help them follow the oath, because the bible doesn’t say to swear by anything, but just say yes or no.
From the evidence presented there is no doubt that the values presented in the Holy Bible are values this great country used to write, first the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America. After the Declaration of Independence of 1320 words was written thousands of Americans lost their lives by to putting the values represented in those words ahead of everything else.
After winning the Revolutionary War, which was not at all predictable, we wrote and passed the US Constitution and added the Bill of Rights to protect the values won. Then the same thing happened to us as happened to the Jews after God gave them the Ten Commandments. The “What if” movement began to slowly erode the values we fought for, and some values were just ignored.
The “What if” movement is easy to identify. On the surface it is very simple. The people agreed with the basic value by saying, “We understand that it is wrong to break this value, but what if the circumstances are; “we need this because.”
With this concept of logic we begin the micromanagement of our values. God laid the values out in very simple terms. Of course He knew that there would always be circumstances that we may have to deviate, but we should have to try to stick to the values as much as possible. Our laws a structured to keep honest people honest. They are not structured to make bad people behave.
Laws are not passed to teach people values. People inherently know right from wrong based on what God laid on their heart. For instance in our society in the United States, there is no person that does not know the Ten Commandments exist. They may not be able to recite them, but they know in their heart what they are.
While the new laws say the are reinforcing the Ten Commandments usually the new law gives some of the value to the commandment away. This is what happened to the Jews just after the Ten Commandments were given to Moses. They wrote hundreds of what if laws to the point that Jesus told them “You write laws that, even you, cannot keep.”
God gave us common sense to make decisions if we have to vary from the Ten Commandments.
We lie sometimes to keep from hurting someone’s feeling, but we don’t lie to protect society.
We steal a loaf of bread because we don’t what to starve, but we should not steal if we are too lazy to work.
This is the type of common sense we have to deal with law. Our laws are too harsh sometimes and not harsh enough other times. Usually that depends on one’s place in society and how much money one can spend to defend themselves. Sometimes, it just comes down to honor.
In a perfect world if one makes a mistake he just says, I’m sorry and makes an agreeable and amends. If someone intentionally makes a harmful action to another person, we have law to protect us. The key word here is intent.
For the average person what you intended to accomplish with one’s action has no bearing on one’s innocence or guilt , One does the crime and does the time, unless one has enough money to hire the best legal advice available.

Moving our values to the right or left is just not a good idea. When we move our values we a compromising our values given to us by God to adjust our values to those around us trying to make their life here on earth conform to earthly values that seem more convenient or easier to maintain.
This moving of values leads to crime, drugs, and unproductivity. In other words our contract with society is broken.
What is our contract with society you ask? Most of us get up in the morning awake in a home we didn’t build, a bed we didn’t make, eat breakfast with food we didn’t grow or raise, control warmth or cooling with power we didn’t make, are taught in school by someone else, work and are paid by someone else, and many other things necessary to live a good life. Every time we break our contract with society, society pays the cost.
Our laws should protect us from people breaking the contract we all have with society. The question gets to be, do our laws protect society or try to control society. If the contract with society exists we should try to bring persons that break the contract to a point of that reinforcing the values they broke.
Today we put lawbreakers in jail or prison for a period of time based on the offense they committed. The tells the offender that time served will rehabilitate their values. Often while they are incarcerated the only help they get for life after incarceration is from inmates that have less regard for good values that they have.
Therefore when the inmates are discharged from jail or prison, they fall into a life style values of their piers. If they were encouraged to learn a new skill or finish school while they were incarcerated the chances of becoming productive citizens would be greatly increased, therefore increasing the strength of the values we cherish.
How do we address this problem? We cannot do it all a once, but gradually over time by replacing the House and Senator members of state and local government that have abandoned their values for the love of power and money. it can be done.
The underlaying deeper concern about the last statement is that the citizens on the outside of the jail or prison are in the same boat. We are told by society that our contract with society doesn’t require all the values God placed in the bible. God gave us the Ten Commandments. The key word here is they are commandments and not just guide lines. With other teachings in the bible He elaborates on the Ten Commandments, but He never compromises any of them.
Society, on the other hand, compromises values usually due to the love of money and power. Having the control of money gives power to the greedy which usually negatively effects the poor, low income the most and the middle income citizens to a large extent.
The poor and low income citizens are living a hand to mouth life. Everything they earn goes to exitance. Their values are compromised because they feel life is just not fair. The middle income citizens are aware of the poor and low income, but sometimes believe they could let our of their dilemma if they just applied themselves and worked harder. They never look and the rich and ultra rich as the cause of the problem of poverty. They rather think that the rich and ultra rich are helping them maintain their wealth. Again their values have been adjusted by society.
Jesus said that the poor would always be with us. That statement seems to give us the idea the He said that and meant the poor should always be with us. God and Jesus loves everyone. They didn’t want anyone to be poor. Jesus was stating a fact; not a prediction. However, the middle class, the rich and the ultra rich make that as an excuse not to help the poor and low income to earn a proper living.
It is true that some of the poor and low income citizens are lazy. We can’t do anything about that, but most of the poor and low income citizens are not lazy and will work very hard, usually for little pay. This basically changes their values from the Ten Commandments to survive. Thereby contract with society is weakened once again.
It is evident that power and money feed pride. A Christian nation should not be prideful. A Christian nation should be humble. Each of our representatives and senator should be happy to serve the people that sent them to congress. Everyone that has been elected by the citizens or appointed by the citizens elected to serve should feel the same way.
A Christian nation should understand that God placed it in a strong position to live as an example of humility. The United States does what the angel predicted to the profit Daniel when he told Daniel a king would make treaties to deceive his enemies and do what he wanted to win.
We have treaties with Russia, Iran, China, and other countries that have not intention of complying with the agreements in the treaty. Unfortunately sometimes we sign treaties and we try to work around the agreements. Yes we let their values effect our values.
As a society we continue going down the path of least resistance rather than attempting to improve our values rather than dishonoring our values. Does our contract with society win when let;
• Pride, which is putting our place of birth, our race, our intelligence, our accomplishment,
• Power, which is given to us by those who need our leadership, and
• Wealth, which is their because due to birth, who we know, or hard work.
dictate how our values effect our contract with society?
The answer lies in you the citizen. Do you want to be known as a Christian Nation or not? Are values important to you? There is really no in-be-tween.

What is Separating the US Citizens

9 Jun

The United States is having some problems that could have been avoided altogether. Many of the problems we have had is the result of non Christian thinking that comes form the church institutions that is supposedly teaching love thy neighbor was yourself. Yeah, its easier to say than to actually do it.

Like most of the worldly thinking, we put individuals in a class. It could be economic, appearance, race, or sometimes even where people live. That is normal since we constantly discuss classes of people as stated above. When we meet a new person we judge them by their appearance. That is normal because society has carefully trained us to judge first. Society has also taught us that love and trust has to be earned. As a Christian, I have to say that is non-sense.

I was born in 1939. At that time, we were considered a Christian Nation. We were not thinking perfectly. Race and economics were still a problem. However, we were making progress. We were a church going nation.

We realized that God created the universe and loves everyone. We knew that sometimes He has had allow bad things to people, but always because their actions threatened the rest of the people He loves. The bad thinking people forced those actions on themselves. God does not cause anything bad, unless forced then He allows it. Amen!

Except for our sovereign God,t here is a truth that is always true, . Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The reason it does not corrupt our savior is because He has unconditional love for His created people.

The unwavering tribal instinct we developed over thousands of years has brought us to this point in racial development.

Tribal identity began thousands of year even before Christ was born. It was a way of protecting the tribe against the unknown and preserving the food supply. By protecting each other they maintained a sense of security and has persisted to this very day. Ultimately it also created an environment of safety of the mind from personally having to deal with unwanted problems.

When unwanted problem raise their heads, a desire for status quo becomes one of the most important ideas we think we need to preserve. In a world, that is constantly growing and changing, wise people know that status quo can never be maintained, because the only constant principles that work are the values that God gave Moses.

Our forefathers that wrote the United States Constitution were aware of the failures of past governments including the Pope and King of England that put themselves in charge of the Church. The one in charge of the Church is the one that created the church. That person is Jesus the Christ. He taught that the Ten Commandments were still law.

Therefore our forefathers designed a Constitution that was controlled by the laws of God. Since that time the laws of God have been replaced by the laws of man. The main focus of my statement is the idea expressed by the Supreme Court that there is a separation of church and state. With the Ten Commandments over their door, the Supreme Court passes laws that give excuses to get around the Ten Commandments.

A separation of church and state is not in the Constitution. The idea that was placed in the constitution said that no one could force any religion on any citizen of the United States Christian or otherwise. That is definitely backed up by the Holy Bible. One has to chose to be a Christian. Christianity cannot be forced on any person because God will no accept their sole that way. That is the idea behind the Constitution. The Constitution is very clear about God being Sovereign. Another God is not even referred to the the document.

When we make laws that protect the ideas and practices of another religion, we a going against our constitution.

The ruling that took prayer out of public places including schools is not in any way protected by the Constitution. This ruling was brought on by an atheist who did not want their child or children the benefit of believing their is a God because the atheist believed in nothing. This ruling always interested me because the root of the suit defies common sense. This does not take an education to understand it is the devil working against our Constitution.

Our forefathers signed a document that said all men are created equal. As a matter of fact Jefferson’s first draft would have included the emancipation of the slaves, but of course the country was not ready for that, Lincoln finally did it.

Over the years we have seen ethnic groups come across our boarders. Usually they were used to preform work that the population felt was beneath them or would not do because the companies would not pay enough for the middle class to work. This influx of immigrants became so well recognized France gave us the statue of liberty.

The citizens of the United States are losing several things that are given to the by the creator. If you don’t believe in the creator stop reading. This won’t interest you at all.

We are founded on the principle that all human beings are created equal and have certain unalienable rights under the laws of the Ten Commandments. Those commandments are the basis of all the laws of this country. The exception to this statement are the rulings by the Supreme Court and the Laws Congress made to skirt the Ten Commandments.

We have people wanting to come into this country in the past and now because that believe in the concept of freedom. They usually make that decision based on how their home country blocks their freedom. We should welcome them to our shores if they agree to live in our world and not try to change it to what they came from.

Simply stated, “ Even though you are welcome to join our Christian society, you don’t have to be a Christian, but you have to agreed to live in our Christian society.

God and Country II A

10 Apr

On Easter Sunday I watched “60 Minutes” as they interviewed an astrologist concerning the wonderful progress we have made in studying our universe. Another astrologist was interviewed and said that the big bag theory may not be right, because??

If we are awed by the size of our universe, how awed we will be of the size of heaven when Jesus comes to collect the believers. Science cannot explain eternity and does not even attempt to explain God.

God is in heaven which probably is a dimension a heart beat away. It is probably a dimension inside the dimension of heaven. Time and our developments can’t empress our God, but faith in Him does.

May God bless the doubters until they believe, then bless them even more for believing.
