God and Country 2

3 Jan

The Constitution of the United States was created by winning a conflict driven by some duly appointed men of the original thirteen colonies agreeing on a principle that all men are created equal. In some of their minds that meant land owners while some believed it was all men and women regardless of financial stability or origin of birth.

Jefferson tried to get in all inclusive, but the house sent it back to be rewritten. However he and his colleges were able to provide methods to amend the constitution without destroying the spirit.

The spirit of the constitution was to abide by the Declaration of Independence and the Preamble of the Constitution which clearly states that all men or created equal.

The struggle was because the Constitution didn’t suddenly become law on July 4, 1776. It took much debate, prayer trial, and error to realize there had to be a sovereign led entity throughout the process. Just as God was sovereign over all our spirits the federal government had to be sovereign over the states. Of course there had to be safeguards because the federal government would be operated by human beings.

Like a contract you would make with anyone, you both agree to abide by the conditions in the contract. All the states made a contract with the federal government in the constitution. This says we believe in the principles written in the Constitution we have to agree before any principle can be changed. Therefore the Constitution controls the person rather than the person controlling the Constitution.

Even if congress makes a law that might skirt a constitutional principle the Supreme Court can nullify the law because it does not follow the principle.

***We have five major political parties Democrats, Republicans, and Independence are the three main parties with two more parties within the Republican and Independent party witch has an agenda that is not constitutional all.

The first of these two does not want to do the governments work which is outlined in the Constitution. They seem to believe if a person is not well born and is not achieving enough self produced subsistence they are not worthy to be involved in our government. Therefore, they might make it hard to vote or receive benefits from the more fortunate.

The next party is a rougher bunch. They seem to believe that negotiations are not worth their time because there mind has already reached the conclusion they deem correct whether it is or not.

When these two sub-parties swear to uphold the Constitution I do not believe they are serious. When differences appear in the operation of our government either local, state, and federal they should be debated by properly arguing the different side of the disagreement.

When one side looses and the other side wins by presenting a motion on the floor, it is a congressional decision. If it is important and one side holds the discussion back just to stop something that should be decided, that is not upholding the oath they swore to uphold the constitution.

This is what I am concerned about. The spirit of the Constitution and the spirit of the Christian Bible which is the root of the values in our Constitution. Additionally we don’t teach and follow the importance of sovereignty.

God and Country

2 Jan

I am going to be sending our texts from time to time not because I as smart and know all the answers, but because I am concerned about God’s people not following the Christian bible or the Constitution. The bible was written by 40 authors over a period of 2500 years. The writing began about 4700 years ago but covered the 13.5 billion years since this universe was created. The United States Constitution was written 246 years ago by men I believe were designated by God to give us a good standard of ideas to live by while here on earth.

To me the sovereignty of God is not questionable for the salvation of our souls, As human beings created by God many have tried to form a government that adheres to the values presented in the Christian bible, but now were doing very well until the First Continental Congress wrote the Declaration of Independence to King George of England. After the lose of thousands of men and women a war was won and the United States Constitution was written and approved.

At that point the 13 colonies became the 13 states agreed that all men were created equal and should live together in peace with the laws of the Constitution to guide them. Now instead of the King or Queen being sovereign the United States Constitution is sovereign. Further I believe we owe a great debt to George Washington who could have been elected King according to some, but chose to be a president with the Constitution to guide him. His move made us a republic because at that point the Constitution had not yet been approved by all the states.

Now we have reached the point in our government that has decided to follow the bible when it is convenient and advantageous to the person in charge, and follow the Constitution in the same manner. The spirit of the bible and the Constitution are lost in either case.

If a reader does not agree with the general principles I am laying before you, You will not need to read anything else I write, but I believe God wants me to continue to the sake of the republic and the human being effected by our decisions.

We have been Misdirected by Satan

26 Oct

I have heard all of this misdirection from the right I want to hear. I am a pro-life Christian. When I say Christian I believe that children are special in that Jesus said they are special.

Matthew 19: 13-15 (GNT – Good New Translation)

(Mark 10.13-16; Luke 18.15-17)

13 Some people brought children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and to pray for them, but the disciples scolded the people.

14 Jesus said, “Let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

He placed his hands on them and then went away.

I can only interpret that passage as God will take them in heaven if they die before they can make their own decisions. I don’t agree with killing anyone without a reason to do so, but I don’t believe in bringing a child into this world without loving it.

I believe in reasonable gun control, but I can’t see a reason why any civilian should have an automatic weapon in their home. If we need fire power like that, our government will give us what we need. If we need protection we have wonderful men and women that are eager to serve.

At this point in time the far right is not representing the country I served when I was in the Navy. I took an oath to defend and protect the constitution when I joined because I believe that wise men under God’s direction wrote almost all we needed at the time. Some tried to make all men equal, but it wasn’t to be at that time.

I am very satisfied with all men and women of any color having the same rights as me. What we look like doesn’t matter. It is what we do and say that matters. Isaiah describes Jesus 700 years before He was born.

2 Isaiah 53: 2-3 (GNT) It was the will of the Lord that his servant grow like a plant taking root in dry ground. He had no dignity or beauty to make us take notice of him. There was nothing attractive about him, nothing that would draw us to him. 3We despised him and rejected him; he endured suffering and pain. No one would even look at him. We ignored him as if he were nothing.

People didn’t listen to Jesus because of how he looked. It was because of who He was and what He said and did.

What we are seeing from the right is people who don’t believe the bible the way is was written and in God who loves even His enemies. It is misdirection fuel by the devil to split a country that God gave to us with a set of rules to live by. The points that the right are using to divide us have nothing to do with running the country.

The far left is still dividing our country giving more than is needed to ecourage everyone to get ahead by working. I am not talking about people who need things like those on drugs, have lost their job due to something they could not do anything about. They are also fine with putting people in jail with no opportunity to renew their situation that would allow them to rejoin society. The ACLU was a good idea that went too far in somethings and not far enough in others. A very badly run organization.

We need a congress that is zoned in on what the nation was founded on. The Constitution of the United States is very clear. Separation of religion and the government is not in my Constitution. What the Constitution says that the government cannot tell us what to believe. However, every session of congress is opened with a prayer to our savior. If someone is an atheist why should it matter to them what anyone believes. However they took it to our Supreme Court and convinced nine justices a non-believer had a right to overturn our constitution.

We need to get back into the middle of the road and govern like the ones that started this nation. The founders wrote the Constitution fairly quickly, but it took twelve years to get it ratified to begin our government on March 4, 1789. It took the original thirteen states that long to agree on a government that has held together for the past 133 years.

All we have to remember is what Jesus said.

Luke 11: 16-17 ( GNT) Mt 12.38; 16.1; Mk 8.11 Others wanted to trap Jesus, so they asked him to perform a miracle to show that God approved of him. 17But Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he said to them, “Any country that divides itself into groups which fight each other will not last very long; a family divided against itself falls apart. 18So if Satan’s kingdom has groups fighting each other, how can it last?

If we don’t show the other countries we can love each other, how will we ever be able to help them love God. If those who don’t vote do not register in vote we are showing the country that we don’t love this coutry.

Are We on the Right Path

21 May

We are in charge of our own soul.  We have the choice to believe we are Christians or believe we don’t have to be Christians to go to heaven.  Our soul is given a destination of heaven if we believe God is sovereign and Jesus the Christ sent His soul to earth to live in a human body venerable to temptation.

The truth is that Jesus took all our past, present and future sins to the cross.  He said I and the way the truth and the life.  No one goes to the Father except through Me.  All we have to do to send our souls to heaven is to believe He died for our sins, rose from the dead on the third day and is with the eternal God in heaven today.  One other thing we must do is try to live a decent life and spread the Word.

If we have friends and acquaintances that don’t believe the above statement and are doing things contrary the instructions Jesus gave us, we should confront them with love and compassion to help guide them to heaven.  God loves everyone and wants everyone to be with Him for eternity, but that is the choice of every person individually.  God could make us all decide to join Him, but He gave us free will to make that choice ourselves.

I want this country to become a Christian Nation before it is too late.

I love you all and God loves us all.

Are we a Christian Nation?

8 May

Lately have been more and more concerned about the demeanor our country presents to the world,  but even more concerned about the way we present to each other.  The question we should ask each other is, are we a Christian nation?  The second question we should ask ourselves is do we want to be a Christian nation.

The answer to those two questions will determine our future as a world leader.  When I traveled abroad forty years ago, I was introduced as a consultant from the United States.  At that point and during my entire stay in each country persons looked to me as an expert.  If I told them I did not know the answer to a question they believed me.  If I told them I had positive or negative thoughts about a subject they believed me constantly looking to me for guidance.

As I notice interactions today with countries today they act like we are just another country but with power.  I believe it is because they see us lie to each other and treat our less fortunate citizens with malice.  If we lie to and about each other so freely, why then should other countries believe in us?

We have certainly not always been perfect, but I believe we have crossed the line.  I supported President Joe Biden, but I don’t support Roe vs Wade.  I believe that is premeditated murder of person.  No representative in congress is without fault, but when they lie or mislead the public on purpose they are guilty of betraying the trust given to the by the public.  Therefore the public that votes for them again is also guilty of lying to the public. Therefore I go back to the question, do we want to be a Christian Nation?

we are at war

18 Mar

It is evident that people have been targeted as civilians in Ukraine. Any other time we would be at war. What is the difference.

We are at war

12 Mar

We sometimes try to fool ourselves into believing that borders matter when people are attacked. In the Ukraine we have non Christians attacking Christians. There is no difference in this attack and the German attack on Poland in WWII.

I understand the nuclear risk but that is a minimal risk compared to the risk we face if we do nothing. Russia is weak in comparison to what they could be as they let the middle eastern counties join their rakes. when that happens a holy war is in place that we are not prepared for.

If we want to preserve our Christian ideals we have to act now. If we act in God’s name we will defeat the Muslum ideals that are using the Russian people to win their battle with our God.

It is clear to me that the Russian people do not support this action, otherwise the people from othe countries would not be needed. Now is the time to act.

Is right and wrong the same thing as legal and illegal?

12 Jan

Is right and wrong the same thing as legal and illegal?

That is the question our parliamentarians should ask themselves every day.

That is a question we should ask ourselves every day.

We often make decisions based on the law when we know it is not compliant with right and wrong.

When Jesus said give unto Cesar what is Cesar’s and to God what is God’s, He was not talking only about money.  He was taking about a multitude of laws both religious and government based that controlled the lives of the audience to whom He was speaking.

When God gave Moses the Ten Commandments they were simple and very self explanatory.  The men deciphering the law God gave them made the decision that laws were not adequate.  Therefore, they micromanaged and grew them to a point that the law makers could not keep the laws they had made.

Our government today has done precisely the same thing with our constitution.  The rule now are so slanted for the rich that the not rich can’t easily survive.  However, we sometimes fail to understand how much prayer went into this document.   This is not a perfect document.  The Devil was there to add his two cents.  He created some unanswered questions and also some holes to be used to his advantage.

Our Constitution, some say, is just an idealistic idea set to paper and could never be considered for real life.  Others may say it is a pattern of life that should be adhered to and even expanded as we grow.  Still others see it as an opportunity to manipulate the less knowledgeable to their will causing a riff in society to their advantage.  However, the most dangerous people are the ones that disagree with the interpretation of the laws being passed and think they have to voice to correct it.  They also think that their vote does not count, therefore they just don’t vote.

What I hope for is that the majority of citizens of the great nation register to vote which should bring this country back from chaos to a reasonable constructive government.  When that is the case the leaders will disagree but negotiate to come to reasonable conclusions.

Who is in charge?

Who is in charge?

4 Jan

To find out who is charge we have to decide what is the purpose of being in charge. If we what to know who is in charge of our souls we have to determine what deity controls out souls. Also we should determine the priority we should give to what ever deity we feel is more important to our souls.

In the case of most Christians the answer is simple. Our souls belong to the one and only God that created the universe about thirteen and a half billion years ago. Everything else is temporary because we are going to be on the earth for a fraction of a second compared to eternity. If one is not a Christian one does not believe in an eternal life and only makes decisions on the life now and maybe their grand children’s lives.

Our government should take into consideration the beliefs of in majority of its constituents which is now the members of a Christian nation. Whether that majority go to church or not is not the question right now. We are a nation founded on Christian principles. Our Declaration of Independence which our nation lost many lives over and the Constitution of the United States confirm who we are and why we revolted against England.

Our present actions in our federal and state governments are clearly not living up to the principles for which our four fathers fought and died. Now we have extremist that tried to take over our capital on January 6, 2021 with the claim that they were doing what they consider the right thing to do. This incident shows how low are principles have fallen.

As a Christian we must fight our way back by voting for men and women that believe as we do that they have shown by their actions. We often vote on candidates by what they say they are going to do and discount what they have done wrong. Basically people don’t change the way they think unless they are hit with a new realization or they are paid to change they ways. That may not change their minds, but it can change what they do.

This is not a complicated problem. Right and Wrong is always simple. It is the gray areas we have problems with. If we find ourselves in a gray area all we have to do it find another answer to the question we are trying to solve. Amen?
