Constitution vs the Bible Teachings

10 Sep

I am a Christian and and citizen of these United States. I love my country but mostly I love my God who sent is Son into the world to make me riotous. I have read the United Sates Constitution and the bible which I read daily. I have concluded from my reading that the Constitution was originally designed the follow the bible. There were some variations even then that man stopped, but they are being rectified over these 200 years while other values have been diminished over the same time.

In the New Testament Jesus says we are to love one another. He also says we are to take care of the poor, feed the hungry, and treat everyone as you would have them treat you. By performing these acts and believing in Jesus the Christ plus following his teaching, we gain eternal life. If we don’t try to do these thing and don’t fully believe, we jeopardize the eternal life and forfeit many rewards we should have built for ourselves while living this part of our existence.

Today in the United States Congress our representatives have chosen to just believe in this life and what they can accumulate in it. They have demonstrated that the after life is not important. Of course the needs of the people they represent is not imporant to them. All I can do is to love and pray for them. Each of them will have to face God’s judgement alone.

The End of the Republican Party

18 Dec

Before the Tea Party took over the Republican Party there were debates of substance.  The Tea Party entered with their I’m right and you are wrong, and it immediately took hold in the Old Republican Party.

Today the Republican Party has become the Tea Party.  It has totally given in to the Tea Party.  The voters like me that once were part of the Republican Party became independent voters.

Now that the Tea Party’s methods have taken over the Republican Party i openly denounce the Tea party and pronounce shame on the Republican Party.  I am now in opposition to the so called Republican Party as their aim they have chosen to disregard the Constitution of the United States.

I choose the Constitution of the United States, to save this Republic.  What do you choose?

Your Vote Counts

8 Aug

We hear from the media the different views on the actions of politicians.  The media seems to try to make something complicated our of something so simple.

It is clear that there are more democrats and independents than their are republicans.  The media says if the republicans raise more money that the democrats, the republicans will win.

If you want more wealth in your life,

If you want to end K Street’s hold on congress,

If you want to improve our justice system,

If you want to breath in 30 years,

If you want your children to have all the educations they need to complete in this job market,

If you believe in the principles in the christian bible or any other religion,

It doesn’t matter how much money anyone raises.

We can win if we simply register and vote, but we can’t stop there.   We have to hold each congressional member accountable for their actions.

It doesn’t matter what any of the say.   It does matter what they do.

I think a Biden Warren ticket with either one on top would be great.  He has the connection with Congress and She has a plan.

The Muller Report investigation

26 Jul

If the inquiry from investigators are only asking question about the way or what information was obtained by Mr. Muller in order to disavow the information obtained, are they obstructing justices.  It was very clear that the questions posed by the Republican while questioning Mr. Muller were question coordinated in advance of the hearings for the purpose of misdirecting the inquiry from the facts of the case to criticizing the method used by the investigators which happened to be headed by the former head of the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation).  How dumb is that?

Therefore, the Republicans referred to in the questioning plus any others that were present in the meeting or meetings before the formal inquiry, I believe make them guilty of obstruction of justice.  If their questions didn’t follow the Democrats’ plan to clarify and confirm the Muller Report, what were they attempting to accomplish.

It is time for serious change

22 Feb

The question we must ask ourselves in these times of misinformation and professional interest in subjects facing our state and federal law makers is are the representatives representing the voters or are they representing the special interest group?

We are again in a heated discussion about assault weapons. The NRA has made it into a discussion about taking our guns away. One does not have to have a bachelor’s degree to know the difference in those two statements. What is important is safety. When I think about these statements I tend to take an extreme case scenario. Should we have no weapons, or can everyone have rocket launchers or 20 caliber machineguns?

It comes back to what is the best for the population. Our founders determined the people should have a need to protect themselves and hunt for food. The rocket launchers and machineguns come under the well-regulated militia clause.

The problem comes from the manufactures of arms and ammunition and sales companies that profit from those sales. It would cost them too much to pay all the enormous amounts of money paid to the thousands of law makers that are paid each time they run for office, so they started a public forum that collects money for that purpose.

Do you think our legislators should be controlled by such methods?

Our environment must be protected. Global warming is real.

Our infrastructure is something we must maintain.

Education is not an option any more it is necessary for all.

Our military should be strong. The question is will we do what we can, or will we do what we should do.

Is health care a right or an option?

Is it okay that we agree that the minimum wage remain at below the poverty level or should it be raised to a livable figure like $18 over the next ten years?
On each one plus many other times I could list, there are companies and large organizations controlling the vote of your representatives. The answer is obvious. We the people must pay for the election process once candidates qualify to run. At that point no outside money can be donated, not even their own. This should be from the local sheriff to the president of the United States.

Anything else we try will end up costing us more money that we can afford as the national obligation continues to rise.

Voting is Not Enough

16 Feb

One should realize along with voting is an obligation to stay reasonably current with the events happening around us every day.  The shooting in Florida that took seventeen lives is a good example.

The media will bring experts on for several days and we would consider that is enough, but how many people will actually write the Congressman or Senator and tell them how you feel.   Do we tell them that we know that the gun lobby has paid millions of dollars to the campaigns?  Do we tell them that we do not approve?  Do we tell them we expect them to protect us?

Supporting an organization that is fighting the gun lobby is not enough.  Personal action is what they listen to on a daily basis.  Supporting the organization that is fighting the gun lobby sounds very good, but is doesn’t get the job done.

White them today.

Collusion Conspiracy and Obstruction

30 Jan

It seems that our Congress is now involved in the above topic.  They were not complicit in the CONSPIRACY  until they began their own OBSTRUCTION which is a CONSPIRACY to design an OBSTRUCTION into the lawful  and necessary  investigation of COLLUSION.

Mr. Mueller seems to be doing a good job investigating either Trump or his associates into allowing or encouraging Russian medaling in our election.  Now Congress is openly discouraging  that investigation be redirected and, if possible, terminated.  A committee in congress has elected to declassify a certain memo with declassifying the information  around which the  memo was styled.  If the committee voted to do this in this manner the ones that voted to declassify that memo has committed and act which is clearly styled to  mislead the public.   What then does Mr. Mueller do with that?

Disappointment

30 Aug

I guess I have not blogged in a few months because of my great disappointment in my fellow Americans. I followed Hillary Clinton throughout her campaign and believed she was sincere. I didn’t agree with her all the time. Many times I just thought she was wrong. However, I never even entertained the possibility of her being disloyal to the nation.

Trump on the other hand made statements that clearly were not possible or sometimes even reasonable. He made nicknames common place to his base. Crooked Hillary, Fake News, and other nicknames became his motto and style.

I believed when he became president, he would take the job seriously. However, that never happened. He has never taken the job seriously and probably never will. To my knowledge he has never read and certainly doesn’t understand the United States Constitution. He does not respect the people he represents or the allies with which we have relations. He also has no concept of justice.

He is using the office to better his position and grow his own wealth at the expense of the American people. This is obvious to anyone that just uses common sense. One does not have to do any more that take the facts and apply logic to understand this man does not represent anyone but Donald Trump, not the Presidency, but just Donald Trump.

He has done so much damage to the Presidency that it will take years to repair, if it is repairable. He has said things that seem to me at least to be unamerican if carried through.

As disappointed as I am with the president and the congress, I am more disappointed in the Apathy Party. The poles indicate Trump has an approval rating of about 35% of the voters. That seems to be his base constituents. Considering only about 54% of the population voted, and considering the 22% of the population under 18. This means 19% of the eligible voters is controlling this failed presidency.

For some odd reason Christians agree with the actions and statements made by President Trump. Some ask what lies has he told. Some seem to think being disrespectful to parts of our population is okay. Some seem to think begin disrespectful to women is perfectly alright. I have never had to depend on the media to tell me when he lies. I just listen. He contradicts his own words.

The Republican Party welcomed Trump into their fold just as they let the, “Have to do it my way,” Green Party into their party with open arms. From that point on, it has been downhill for the American citizen.

When I was a child, I always disliked the attitude of the guy that brought the bat and ball to the game and made up the rules. We always knew if we didn’t do it his way, he would take his ball and bat and go home. They never accepted the rights of the other players on the team. When we all could afford our own ball and bat the game changed.

Now I am an older man (78 years) and we are again dealing not with the boy that owns the ball and bat, but the rich men that gained their wealth on the backs of the working poor. We have been taught a lie which is “our vote doesn’t count”. Until that changes 17% of the voters will control the elections. Voting is not only a right, but a privilege.

I personally want to thank the 46% of the eligible voters for putting this unqualified President in the Whitehouse. By NOT voting;
• you insulted our neighbors to the south,
• insulted our allies in Europe,
• caused North Korea to get nervous and fire missiles over the head of our allies to the far east,
• cut off immigration from some countries
o (a process that built our nation),
• cut the guts out of our government by not hiring needed replacements,
• put us in danger of eating food that has not been inspected,
• take the United States out of the Global Initiative,
• has followed the failed idea that the United States and go to and sustain a war with an idea rather than a nation, and
• made this great nation, the laughing stock of the world.

I wrote the book “The Repair and Upkeep of the United States Constitution” in 2004, in which, I predicted that we would have a black president. It happened faster than that, but I wasn’t disappointed. The only way to stop that from happening was that everyone registers and vote. The Apathy Party wins again. The Apathy Party has won elections for years and years.

God gave this land to his people. In my estimation that would be those that love God and the ones that will love God. In my thoughts, I believe that what the old world had done with his religion just wasn’t working in His favor. The men that signed the Declaration of Independence pledged their fortunes and their lives to this new experiment called freedom from power and give it to the people.

The questions that I would ask the Apathy Party are;

Do you love your children?
Do you love this country?
Are you proud of this country?
Are you willing to do your part to keep it?

The answers to those questions should determine the future of this great nation.

God Bless America!!

Easter is Here Again

9 Apr

Today our pastor said Christians are not coming to church as they used to.  He is right.  We don’t come to church as we once did, but some of us do.  It is up to the “some of us” to encourage church attendance once again.  As long as you go to a church that believes Christ died and rose on the third day for our sins, it doesn’t much matter which denomination your chose.

I encourage you to read the bible daily and pray often for one another.  Our Christian religion is the only religion that matters.  The New Age “everyone will get there” is nonsense.  Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one goes to the father except through me.” is the only statement that will work for all of us.

By going to church and keeping Christian values at our forefront, we will win back our nation.

When No One Leads

25 Feb

When no one is leading a group, the group will choose a leader.  That isn’t my idea.  It is the result of many studies.

For many years now the two parties have been leading us down a road of special interests.  During this time we have involved ourselves and a war that has expanded across the Middle East and various other counties.  Even then special interest group found a way to exploit the US citizens.

Since Congress has done nothing of substance as a united group of leaders to help the country over the last forty years by constantly fighting over yes or no rather than how we should proceed, we have confused the very citizens we should be trying to help.  Therefore the special interest groups saw an opportunity to run a candidate for president by appealing to the citizens that  the answer to all our problems are based in the government procedures such as intelligence, banking regulations, environment problems, social issues, and news media.  These are things that makes the United States of America different from the rest of the world.  These are things that we rely on to keep us safe and informed.

I am not saying this is a bad thing.  I think it will be a good thing if the country wakes up and decides that they need to encourage the Congress to take back control or replace those that are not doing their jobs.  Special interest groups have been controlling Congress for years and years.  A president cannot reform the country’s problems this a series of Presidential Orders.  To fix or repair some of these items is not a bad thing.  However, it needs the best minds in the country which should be in our Congress.

It is time for the Senators and Representatives to observe that activity go on in the White House, come together as leaders, and solve that problems facing this nation.  Republicans and Democrats should review what their individual philosophies get to be and try to negotiate with the other party to compromise  into solutions  acceptable to both parties.  If they can’t do that then they should be replaced.

Congress, together, has more power than the President.  However, if they are kept at each other’s  throats, they have less power.

I love this country and the people that voted for Trump love this country.  I am sure of that.  However, the people that votes for Clinton love this country too.  I am sure of that.

What do we need.  Responsible government!
