Is Power More Important than the Constitution?

9 Jan

It is hard to believe we are in a county that takes away our freedom. We are at a place in history that might suggest another Magna Carta like the English had King John to sign. King John just gave more power to the nobleman, but it was a start.

Just according to our internet, h

ere are three main things it did:

1. It Established the Rule of Law:

Note; The rule of law could not be more necessary than now. It is constantly abused by this administration.

2. Protected Individual Rights & Due Process:

Note: Due Process is constantly being abused. By the time the problem is heard, it is often too late to have a positive effect.

3. Limited Taxation & Controlled Royal Power: It prevented the king from imposing new taxes without the consent of a council (barons) and established a council of barons to ensure the king followed the charter.

Note: That is of course what we need. The barons had the right to stop abuse of power. We have a congress that has that right. As the barons had to protect themselves and their subjects, Our representatives have an obligation to protect their constituents.

When our country was formed we took the constitution to a new lever. At least we thought we did. The Constitution of the United States was written by a few men but ratified by every person by vote over the next few years. We established a Supreme Court to keep us in line with the constitution, but some times rather than ruling with the words in the Constitution the members go by a writing of one or more of the signers instead of the words written therein.

We can fix this, but we are listening to a man that says he wants representatives reigned in by restrict term limits and other thing while the president wants to run for a third term and take away or limit the protection of former presidents.

If you can’t see these things developing, I think you may not be paying attention.

God is Sovreign

28 Sep

There is only one God, He is the one that spoke the universe into existence. He did it in sections, and He used nothing to do it. We know that because God told Moses how He did it. According to Exodus He did it by speaking the the first section through the sixth section when He created man. Which was much before Adam and Eve.

I believe the split of the angels in heaven had already happened and the first creation failed due to the devil influenced man’s thinking. The men and women He created had the power to make their own decisions. Over centuries the influence of God over man decreased to the point that religion became man made.

About five thousand years ago God created Adam and Eve with a way for them to receive the blessings He desired for man if they only believed that only He is sovereign. He did this by sending his only begotten Son as a human being into this life to teach and shed His blood for our sins.

Unfortunately, the devil was still working against Him with the help of the third of the angels that came with him and the thousands of men and women that survived from the first human group. The man-made gods that were engineered by satin and worshiped by that group and some of the Adam and Eve descendants are still worshiped today.

Just like the gods from Mt Olympus, Buda, and many other man-made gods they take away from the only true God who created the universe. What is very confusing to me is the enturbulation the Jewish people put on their role in the whole idea of path Jesus played in the bringing the Christian Church to us all. It is true that they worship the same God we Christians worship, but they do not worship the Trinity. Jesus said very clearly that He is the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father (God) except through Him.

Every reference to Jesus in our Old Testament came true exactly. And every prediction has happened as described by God in the bible has happened as predicted.

So what did the devil do to fight this. He created Mohamed as a deity by forcing people to follow Him or else. There is no question in my mind that Mohamed is the devil disguised as another Jesus, but not based on love based on hate is the only way to win.

Only through the blood of Jesus can we achieve the citizenship God offers the believers that follow Jesus’s teaching to everlasting life through grace that we could never earn.

These United States was founded on the biblical principle that you have to accept Jesus, and the Christian religion could never by forced on you.

However, it does not say that we have to accept the principles of another religion or no religion.

Broken Ten Commandments

21 Aug

As Christians we have to determine who is the enemy of God and His plan. First we have to realize and believe God spoke this Universe into existence. We believe one of the descendance of Adam and Eve was Jesus the Christ. His birth and crucifixion was predicted over many hundreds of year to verify His birth when it happened.

During this time Moses was given the Ten Commandment which are the basis of most of our laws. However, those commandments get lost in many aspects of our laws. We voters let that happen over and over. This is what I would like to address.

  1. Worship no God but Me.

This is one of the most important commandments that is ignored by us Christians every day. Every time we think about something being more important that our God. We break that commandment.

For instance having money, ever a lot of money, is not sinful, but the love of money is a sin committed by many of us. Even many persons in the bible had wealth taken away and wealth given. God can do anything so we should depend on Him more and more and less on our ability.

Putting anything before God is a sinful thought. He has made us a steward of this planet. Both physically and politically we have we have put the planet and people God loves in Jeopardy.

God knew that we could not keep His commandments even though we try, so He sent His son to bare our shortcomings on the cross. Jesus said no one goes to the Father except through me. That means all other religions are based on a lie perpetuated by Satin. Even Islam who recognizes Jesus as a profit and the Jewish religion who fail to recognize Jesus as their profits predicted are not worshiping the Christian God.

  1. Do not make for yourselves images of anything in heaven or on earth or in the water under the under the earth. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it, because I am the Lord you God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me and their descendants down to the third and fourth generation. But I show my love to thousands of generations of those who love me and obey my laws.

This one is a little complicated to understand. There a symbols all around us. They are sports, politics, power, and many other things that we value more than our Christian duties. How we handle those things shows the degree of worship we have for the almighty.

The devotion we show to things that are not of God is okay if it doesn’t overshadow the devotion we have for God. Golf is a good sport that many have. Would we play golf instead of attending church? That is a question many should ask. Would we miss church to go to a ball game on Sunday? How do we feel about power, politics, media, and many things we face every day? These are the ideas we should dwell on as they occur every day.

  1. Do not use my name for evil purposes, for I, the Lord your God, will punish anyone who misuses my name.

God’s name should never be used unless you are addressing God or talking about Him. Damning something or someone in God’s name is a violation of the third commandment. This is a very common sin that we tolerate every day.

  1. Observe the Sabbath and keep it holy. You have six days in which to do your work. But the seventh day is a day of rest dedicated to me. On that day you will do no work – either you, your children, your slaves, your animals, not the foreigners who live in our country. In six I the Lord, made the earth, the sky, the seas, and everything in them, but on the seventh day I rested. That is why I the Lord blessed the sabbath and made it holy.

We used to have a “blue law” which gradually was replaced by our social activities. Now we don’t even recognize Sunday except the few of us that go to church on a regular basis. Our worship of God and Jesus is secondary to our duty as Christians.

  1. Respect your father and your mother, so that you may live a long time in the land that I am giving you.

Respect and honor is not as relevant in our lives as it should be. We see every day the young not respecting and honoring their parents or the elderly wisdom of the people trying to give wisdom.

  1. Do not commit murder.

Thou shall not kill is not the sixth commandment. Murder is expressly mentioned. We kill to protect ourselves and our country. Anything more than that is forbidden.
7.Do not commit adultery.
Self explanatory.

  1. Do not steal.
    Self explanatory.
  2. Do not accuse anyone falsely.
Take responsibility for anything you say about anyone. This can cover the our thinking concerning race or social standings of another person. Many times we make decisions based on nothing but race or social standing ignoring the real qualities of the person.
  3. Do not desire another man’s house; do not desire his wife, his slaves, his cattle, his donkeys, or anything else that he owns.
This is something which everyone is guilty. We see something someone else owns and we want one like it. That is not a sin, but when we want someone else’s thing that they own, jealousy takes possession of our mind and that becomes a sin.
These Ten Commandments are to govern our lives in that they should guide our approach to life. None of us can keep all ten all the time, but the leaders of our county, state, and federal government should consider these commandments when they make laws.
Throughout our nation’s history the rich have been allowed to step on the less fortunate workers. The unions helped but now, through negotiations we gave union workers earning exuberant salaries while non union workers just survive on much less.
We let people from other nations come here and protest against our life style and our laws trying to get us to think like them. We let them protest while wearing a mask in many cases. It they really wanted to make a statement they should be proud enough of their cause to show themselves.
Our tax system is messed up letting the people and companies that built the amenities of this great nation avoid paying taxes to keep up what they built.
Now we come to killing unborn babies. This is murder. If a woman does not want children, they should take proper precautions. A child should only be lost to save the mother’s life.
God gave this land to a Christian people and our forefathers we wise enough to not make it a police state of religion declaring that everyone could worship as they saw fit. Therefore, the government could not enforce any religion on its citizens. Now the devil has infiltrated our government to declare our forefather mean separation of church and state. That is not in the constitution, but our supreme court says it is. However our bible makes it clear that becoming a Christian is a choice we have to make a individuals.
We have a democratic platform which will be adopted this week and this whole statement will be ignored.

A divided nation cannot stand

14 Jul

I wrote the following a few days ago, and then yesterday the event of the possible assignation of former president Trump became real.

I am an independent going to church praying for Trump because we are a divided nation. Again I say what Jesus said and Lincoln said. “A divided nation cannot stand. “

Our country is divided. It is not going to be divided. It is divided. Do we want to united this nation or continue to fight the ideas of our neighbor.

We agreed on a constitution 250 years ago to be governed by a republic which to the world was considered an experiment.

The wealthy became more wealthy through the work of the common folks that did the work. The government was and still is controlled by the wealthy, but the unions were formed that put some degree of restraint on those that were taking advantage of this free republic.

Power and money was still the key to controlling there wealth, and though the money, power earned the wealthy maintained control of the government with some exceptions. As part of the middle class became a sub wealthy class the country began its division. The wealth and the sub-wealth began to attempt to shrink the size of the government.

As our government grew the management of the government became a night mare of expense which had to be met by the tax payer. Beginning in the 50s after WWII, we elect people the thought the social security lock box had to be unlocked to begin building our wonderful interstate highway system. This money was borrowed and never repaid. Our military expense grew to enormous proportions because after WWI we cut back too far. The powerful didn’t want to pay for the upkeep of face the problem of claimant change, so they let it and other things grow to their extreme condition which will have to be solved by the rich, sub-rich,what left of the middle class, and the rest of us also.

This is the problem and divided nation faces. Division is standing in the way due to the stubbornness of the far right and the far left. While the far left and far right are not wrong. They are not alone. Only together can we reunite.

The media keeps asking are you better off than you were four years ago. While that is a good question to ask yourself, but it is that wrong question to ask. You are casting a vote to improve the country. If the country improves you will improve. Quit listening to the media and politians that are only interested in their rating. Ask yourself how can I improve this country, by reinstalling a seasoned leader that cares about this country or reelecting a man that sent a mob to the capital because he lost the election.

How Immigrants Should Show Respect

12 Mar

It seems we have lost our way. Our constitution has always been a work in progress. Since we a nation of immigrants we provided a method of recruiting new people to the country.

To become a U.S. citizen, you must meet certain eligibility requirements12345.
These include:
· Being at least 18 years old when you apply12345.
· Being a permanent resident (have a Green Card) for at least 3-5 years145.
· Demonstrating continuous residence in the United States for at least 5 years immediately before the date you file Form N-4001.
· Being able to read, write, and speak basic English (depending on age)2.
· Establishing residency in the state or U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) district where you intend to apply.
· Having “good moral character”

These requirements basically are but not limited to what is written above. At the time of becoming a citizen immigrants have to take an oath of allegiance which leaves nothing to the imagination. It is clear to me and everyone else I have talked to about this that we welcome people from other countries that want to conform to our way to life.
I see nothing wrong in protesting peacefully. To some degree protesting has benefited most of the people needed help in some way or other. Some benefited economically, some gained the right to vote, and some just recognition for things that mattered to them.
To have these rights one must be a citizen of the United States. When persons come in to the United States legally that come with a Green Card status. For a period of time that have time to acquaint themselves with our laws and customs. Otherwise the prospective immigrant will try to make this country the way he wanted to change his birth country.
We have laws that keep changing about new immigrants, but that can be fixed with cooperation between the parties. That is not the concern. The concern gets to be how the immigrants behave once they are here. When I see immigrants or children of immigrants acting like residents of another country waving their former country’s flags, I get dismayed.
When the Parisians wave the Palestinian flag ignoring what they have done it is unamerican.
You have chosen to live in a Christian nation speaking American English. Live with it.
